Patys Restaurant

Paty’s is an old-school Coffee Shop in the heart of Burbank.

Patys isn’t going to make anyone’s “must see” in Los Angeles list, and tourists and foodies aren’t going to flock here for the food.  That’s kinda the point.

Patys is close by (if you’re in Burbank), and it’ll get you fed, and make sure you leave happy.  It’s got plenty of tables inside and outside. You won’t have to wait here like you would at The Griddle. It’s also a real neighborhood joint, so expect to be hanging out with everyone from Studio Execs to Union Carpenters.

WHAT SHOULD I GET?: Well, Breakfast. They serve everything, but they’re really good at Breakfast. What did I have, I had a create your own three-egg Omelete, and I left plenty happy.

PARKING: Paty’s has a small lot out back, but there are so few spaces it fills up quickly. There’s a public lot behind that, and of course street parking. Come early enough in the morning, all those options will be available. Wait too long, say around 10am, you’re out of luck.
