Pretty good Indian in Burbank.  But if you go at Lunch, it’s REALLY good all-you-can-eat Indian food in Burbank.

I don’t think India’s Tandoori in Burbank is the best Indian place in town. (That honor goes to, in my opinion, Akbar Cusinie of India thus far). But India’s Tandoori isn’t bad. And the fact that its giving you all you can eat of some of India’s Greatest Hits, isn’t bad either. On top of that, they’re only docking you $9.95 for the privilege. So go ahead and stuff yourself silly, and do so moderately guilt free because Indian food is heavy on the vegetables, and equally heavy on the flavor.

I will say this about India’s Tandoori, they’re good enough to make you curious about their dinner menu.

WHAT SHOULD I GET?: You should get the Lunch Buffet, for a mere-mortals-easily-able-to-afford $9.95. Past that, its all up to you. I’m not as familiar with Indian Food as I am, say Chinese, but the fine folks at India’s Tandoori make it easy for the novice, breaking down each dish into its essential elements.

That being said, I had the Chicken Tikka Masala (aka, Great Britian’s national dish), and healthy portion of steamed white and saffron rice, along with some lukewarm Naan bread. (What are you gonna do, it’s a lunch buffet and its cheap. You can’t have everything.)

IMPORTANT SAFETY TIP, PEOPLE: When you start offering all-you-can-eat Indian Food, you’re going to get real popular real fast. So, if you want at table at India Tandoori without waiting in line (and there will be a bit of a line, like 2-3 parties, tops), get there as close to 12pm as you can. Even then, you’ll find some people already there eating away.

PARKING: Like all things Downtown Burbank, your options are a bit limited, but at least they’re free. First off, consult our Burbank Parking Map for options, but your best bet is the Structure that stretches across both sides of Orange Grove. There is street parking available, but the spaces are usually filled up by lunch time.
