We speak well of Roy Choi at this site, as well as his ventures like the Alibi Room menu and A-Frame, but this blogpost from Los Angeles Magazine should tell you something about where we’re going in America:

T.G.I. Friday’s has announced that among its 17 new menu items will be a platter of “Korean Steak Tacos.”

Straight from the TGI Friday’s menu:

Three corn tortillas filled with strips of marinated Black Angus flat iron steak, then topped with ginger-lime slaw, cucumbers, fresh cilantro, basil and Sriracha sauce. Served with jasmine rice pilaf.

Wonder if he can sue for Trademark infringement, or at least on the grounds of common decency.

Oh, and in case you’re wondering, the Phillipe’s Rule hereby applies to any Korean Tacos not made by Roy Choi.
