A generic Sports Bar in Burbank.
I wish I could say more about Burbank Bar & Grille. It’s main advantages are where its located. It’s not too far from the Movies. It’s not too far from the studios. They serve food and drink. Is that a reason to go?
(Look, this is the part of the review, where I…your humble reviewer…just accepts the fact that nothing I do or say is going to affect this place in the slightest, and y’all are just going to keep heading on in there despite the fact that if you do just a little more work, walk a little bit further, you’d do SO much better.)
You go there because, it’s centrally located and they serve food and drink.
Now, they seem to be geared toward…whatever you might want that evening. They do do live music every weekend. They are a bit of a Sports Bar. That might not be your thing, especially on Sundays. Just make sure you plan a little in advance.
WHAT SHOULD I GET?: The menu is a weird mix of Italian and Steakhouse. Maybe I’m misinterpreting, and it’s an Italian Steakhouse.
But, it doesn’t feel like that. The menu looks designed to be fun enough, with enough heft in case you come walking in with a date. But what do I know? The last time I was here, I had the Chicken Strips. And from the quality of this review, you can tell how memorable they were.
IMPORTANT SAFETY TIP, PEOPLE: Bear in mind that this place hosts Live Music occasionally, so…if you come by looking for a quiet place to drink, or you’re looking for a late night place to get a bite to eat with your date…you could be in for a surprise. Friday and Saturdays look continually booked. Consult their website in advance for who’s playing, and most importantly, when.
PARKING: Consult the Burbank Parking Map, but parking in the structure near Orange Grove and San Fernando (that stretches across both sides of the street is your best bet.)
