The suburban Pizzeria to end all suburban Pizzerias in Woodland Hills. No, that wasn’t a compliment.
Truth be told, I almost put BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse in with the Fast Food section. There’s nothing about it that’s all that good or extraordinary. You come in, the Waitstaff will take care of you. They will see that you have a reasonably good time, and you won’t get charged an arm and a leg.
Still, let’s keep in mind, you’re reading a Food Blog (or a reasonable facsimile thereof). If you like reading stuff like you find in Food Blogs, there’s no reason you’re going to be caught dead in a BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse unless a Significant Other, or a potential Significant Other is involved.
Plus, it’s one of those places that has a menu that’s like a hundred pages long, that’s never a good thing.
WHAT SHOULD I GET?: Out of there, but failing all else. You can get a Pizza, though I’d prefer it be somewhere else.
IMPORTANT SAFETY TIP, PEOPLE: It’s loud, crowded and noisy…despite my admonition. It’s not ideal for date night. It’s ideal for “everything else is closed, and I’m hungry” night.
Also, after 9pm…I can guarantee you it is just about the only place open for business in Woodland Hills.
PARKING: Sufficient. BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse shares a lot with a nearby Office Complex, but it you come late enough there will be plenty of spaces. And they’re all free, too.
