Pasadena Restaurant Week was something I dearly loved. I should know, I ate there enough. A bunch of lovely, local venues offering Pre-fixed menus for a reasonable cost. Who wouldn’t love that?

Now, the greater Los Angeles area is doing that too?

Dine LA’s Restaurant Week is kicking into gear on Monday July 15th, and basically running two weeks (but only one weekend) unitl the 26th being done in partnership with American Express.

You want the official sales pitch? Here is it, courtesy of their website:

dineLA’s Restaurant Week is a 12-day dining event (July 15-26) showcasing Los Angeles as a premier dining destination, highlighting the diversity of culinary experiences LA has to offer. Locals and visitors have the opportunity to enjoy a selection of specially priced prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus from some of LA’s best restaurants.

Now, I will say that DineLA has a fantastic looking website for you to play with. It’s basically a chart where you can filter by type of food, neighborhood, whether you want to go to lunch or dinner. The prices are all displayed so you can make a reasonbly educated choice in advance.

I’m definitely going to do something with this. More reportage in this space as it becomes available.
