Is It Any Good?

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)’s Friday night Jazz Concerts continue tomorrow night featuring the Greg Reitan Trio.

From the LACMA website:

Pianist and composer Greg Reitan is the leader of an award-winning trio that placed second in the 1996 Hennessy Jazz Search in New York. Reitan was also a finalist in the 1995 Great American Jazz Piano Competition and the recipient of the inaugural 2002 ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award. In 2000, he joined forces with prominent record producer Orrin Keepnews (Bill Evans, Thelonious Monk) to work on projects, including his latest release, Antibes.

Jazz at LACMA starts every Friday night at 6pm in the BP Grand Pavilion. Tickets are free, and don’t require any reservations. Parking is available underneath LACMA or across the street (and that might cost you a little bit).

Food options, including Tacos, Sangria and Beer will be on sale. Ray and Stark Bar will be open as well, as well as the many food trucks along Wilshire Avenue. You can also bring your own picnic, as well as your own chair or blankets.
