This isn’t something you see everyday. (Well, given that’s it’s the 26th Anniversary of this thing, I guess it should go without saying).

Donald F. McCallum was an renewed expert in the field of Japanese Art. One of his Doctoral Students, Chari Pradel, will be giving a lecture on Prince Shōtoku (574–622), also known as Prince Umayado. Basically, he’s the guy who introduced Buddishm to Japan, and he remains a somewhat controversial figure.

Either way, there’s art and history involved, so I’m in. Tickets are free, but seating is limited. You need to RSVP by Monday, December 2 (today) by calling 323 857-6565.
