Is It Any Good?

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)’s Friday night Jazz Concerts continue tomorrow night featuring Kahn Jazz and Blues Revue.

From the LACMA website:

Pianist, composer, and arranger George Kahn’s Jazz & Blues Revue features vocalists Crystal Knighton, Courtney Lemmon, and Gina Saputo with an all-star band. Kahn has been a major force in the Los Angeles jazz community since the late 1990s, and recently released his sixth CD, Cover Up! He has collaborated extensively with such artists as Brian Bromberg, Alex Acuna, Justo Almario, John Fumo, and Pat Kelley.

Jazz at LACMA starts every Friday night at 6pm in the BP Grand Pavilion. Tickets are free, and don’t require any reservations. Parking is available underneath LACMA or across the street (and that might cost you a little bit).

Food options, including Haute Dogs (Sausages) or Tacos (bring the Tacos back!), Sangria, Beer and other adult beverages (and non-adult beverages) will be on sale. Ray and Stark Bar will be open as well, as well as the many food trucks along Wilshire Avenue. You can also bring your own picnic, as well as your own chair or blankets.
