Is It Any Good?

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)’s Friday night Jazz Concerts continue tomorrow night featuring The Jazz Leaders.

From the LACMA website:

The Jazz Leaders is a newly-formed sextet comprised of Southern California’s finest bandleaders: Dr. Bobby Rodriguez on trumpet and flügelhorn, Rickey Woodard on sax, Billy Mitchell on piano, Ryan Cross on bass, Bobby Matos on congas, and Paul Kreibich on drums. The ensemble recorded its debut  album in May 2012, and has been performing at leading clubs around Los Angeles.

Jazz at LACMA starts every Friday night at 6pm in the BP Grand Pavilion. Tickets are free, and don’t require any reservations. Parking is available underneath LACMA or across the street (and that might cost you a little bit).

Food options, including Tacos, Sangria and Beer will be on sale. Ray and Stark Bar will be open as well, as well as the many food trucks along Wilshire Avenue. You can also bring your own picnic, as well as your own chair or blankets.
