Is It Any Good?

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)’s Friday night Jazz Concerts continue tomorrow night featuring The Tom Rizzo Group.

From the LACMA website:

With his signature sweet tone and driving rhythmic pulse, guitarist Tom Rizzo plays not only bebop-based jazz, but he has also spent much of his career playing funk, pop, folk, R & B, and alternative music. Rizzo has recorded and performed with a wide range of musicians, including Maynard Ferguson, Johnny Mathis, the Tonight Show Band with Doc Severinsen, and the Los Angeles Master Chorale, in addition to numerous recordings under his own name.

Jazz at LACMA starts every Friday night at 6pm in the BP Grand Pavilion. Tickets are free, and don’t require any reservations. Parking is available underneath LACMA or across the street (and that might cost you a little bit).

Food options, including Haute Dogs (Sausages) or Tacos (bring the Tacos back!), Sangria, Beer and other adult beverages (and non-adult beverages) will be on sale. Ray and Stark Bar will be open as well, as well as the many food trucks along Wilshire Avenue. You can also bring your own picnic, as well as your own chair or blankets.
