Is It Any Good?

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)’s Friday night Jazz Concerts will conclude for 2013 tomorrow night featuring Tall & Small: The Pete Christlieb & Linda Small 11 Piece Jazz Band.

From the LACMA website:

Tenor saxophonist Pete Christlieb and trombonist Linda Small lead this 11-piece jazz band featuring L.A.’s finest. Christlieb, best known for his 20-year stint with Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show Band, has also been a member of classic big bands Si Zentner, Louis Bellson, Bill Holman, and a brief but delightful stint with Count Basie.

Jazz at LACMA starts every Friday night at 6pm in the BP Grand Pavilion. Tickets are free, and don’t require any reservations. Parking is available underneath LACMA or across the street (and that might cost you a little bit).

Food options, including Haute Dogs (Sausages) or Tacos (bring the Tacos back!), Sangria, Beer and other adult beverages (and non-adult beverages) will be on sale. Ray and Stark Bar will be open as well, as well as the many food trucks along Wilshire Avenue. You can also bring your own picnic, as well as your own chair or blankets.
