Coming down off that Valentine’s day buzz, LACMA invites to take another swig, this time from the Bordeaux region of France.
From the LACMA Website:
Explore the resonance between French art and the wines of Bordeaux at this event celebrating the 50th anniversary of the sister-city relationship between Los Angeles and Bordeaux. Start with a tour of the museum’s extensive collection of French art, led by art historian and educator Mary Lenihan. Then savor five standout wines—selected by Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux—from Bordeaux Châteaux, including Saint-Émilion, Margaux, and Sauternes, paired with French cheeses and other delights.
Wine historian Barbara Baxter of Planet Wine provides insight and commentary as part of this tasting.
Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux generously sponsors the celeb wines, Aristo Chateaux, and noble vines (Bordeaux’s Best).
