Is It Any Good?

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)’s Friday night Jazz Concerts continue tomorrow night featuring The Grace Kelly Quintet.

From the LACMA website:

Saxophonist, composer, and vocalist Grace Kelly has attracted audiences with her profiency, creativity, and growth. At only 21 years old, Kelly has already shared the stage with legendary artists such as Wynton Marsalis, Phil Woods, and Harry Connick, Jr. in concerts around the world. In 2013, DownBeat Critics Poll named her one of the “alto saxophone rising stars,” the youngest artist ever named in the poll.

Jazz at LACMA starts every Friday night at 6pm in the BP Grand Pavilion. Tickets are free, no reservations required, but the earlier you show up the better. Parking is available underneath LACMA or across the street (and that might cost you a little bit).

Food options, including Haute Dogs (Sausages) or Tacos (bring the Tacos back!), Sangria, Beer and other adult beverages (and non-adult beverages) will be on sale. Ray and Stark Bar will be open as well, as well as the many food trucks along Wilshire Avenue. You can also bring your own picnic, as well as your own chair or blankets.
