The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)’s Friday night Jazz Concerts continues TOMORROW NIGHT, featuring Sweet Baby J’ai.

From the LACMA website:

Critically acclaimed singer, songwriter, producer, arranger, and actress Sweet Baby J’ai has shared her distinctive sound around the the world. She has been heard on radio and television both nationally and internationally and has performed extensively in the U.S., Europe and Asia, from the Walt Disney Concert Hall to the Ford Amphitheater to Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall, among other venues. Sweet Baby J’ai also serves as artistic director of the Palm Springs Women’s Jazz Festival.

Now, Sweet Baby J’ai, I’ve heard of. I’ve got one of her early albums. She’s good. Trust me.

Jazz at LACMA starts every Friday night at 6pm in the BP Grand Pavilion. Tickets are free, no reservations required, but the earlier you show up the better. Parking is available underneath LACMA or across the street (and that might cost you a little bit).

Food options, as well as Sangria, Beer and other adult beverages (and non-adult beverages) will be on sale. Ray and Stark Bar will be open as well.  LACMA has started to ask that we not bring outside alcohol, or glass bottles to the event.  The food trucks along Wilshire Avenue will be there until an hour or two before showtime. You can also bring your own picnic, as well as your own chair or blankets.
