The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)’s Friday night Jazz Concerts continue tonight, featuring Dwight Trible.

From the LACMA website:

Vocalist Dwight Trible combines the best of vocal virtuosity with musicianship and improvisational skills. He has worked with such notables as Oscar Brown Jr., Bobby Hutcherson, Billy Childs, Kenny Burrell, Harry Belafonte, Billy Higgins, and Kamau Daaood.

Jazz at LACMA starts every Friday night at 6pm in the BP Grand Pavilion. Tickets are free, no reservations required, but the earlier you show up the better. Parking is available underneath LACMA or across the street (and that might cost you a little bit).

Food options, as well as Sangria, Beer and other adult beverages (and non-adult beverages) will be on sale. Ray and Stark Bar will be open as well.  LACMA has started to ask that we not bring outside alcohol, or glass bottles to the event.  The food trucks along Wilshire Avenue will be there until an hour or two before showtime. You can also bring your own picnic, as well as your own chair or blankets.

The "Celebrating Cannonball Adderley" Tribute Concert at LACMA. The first LACMA Jazz Concert of the year.
