The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA)’s Friday night Jazz Concerts continue tomorrow night, June 26th, 2015, featuring Paulette McWilliams.
From the LACMA website:
After 40 years of recording and touring with a wide range of legendary artists such as Marvin Gaye, Bette Midler, Quincy Jones, and Luther Vandross, vocalist Paulette McWilliams has hit her stride with her recent recording Telling Stories. McWilliams has performed at jazz clubs in London and Japan, along with festivals including Monterey, Trinidad, Milan, Moscow and Bern, Switzerland.
Jazz at LACMA starts every Friday night at 6pm in the BP Grand Pavilion. Tickets are free, no reservations required, but the earlier you show up the better. Parking is available underneath LACMA or across the street (and that might cost you a little bit).
Food options, as well as Sangria, Beer and other adult beverages (and non-adult beverages) will be on sale. Ray and Stark Bar will be open as well. LACMA has started to ask that we not bring outside alcohol, or glass bottles to the event. The food trucks along Wilshire Avenue will be there until an hour or two before showtime. You can also bring your own picnic, as well as your own chair or blankets.
