This weekend featured the opening of the new Steven S. Koblik Education and Visitor Center at the Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens.
We’ve been tracking it’s progress for a while, two years in fact. So opening is welcome, after years of going to the Huntington and having to do everything in Trailers and temporary Metal buildings.
Remember, we started here with the original Visitor’s center from way back:
That turned (temporarily) into this:
And now we’re here, with a brand new campus, including Orientation Gallery, and well...just look!
Now, we have a new place to pick up your tickets:
Now we have full-on Coffee shop (no more Coffee Carts):
We have a beautiful new (and huge) new Museum Store:
And we have the Rose Hills Foundation Garden Court:
And, of course, a new Cafe:
And it wouldn’t be the Huntington without lovely new grounds:
