Josiah Citrin’s French place is exquisite food at exquisite prices. Dine on the cheap on Wed to Fri: A price-fixed lunch menu features baby spinach salad or tomato consumme, halibut or flank steak, and homemade sorbet for $20.03. Prefer this place to Josie’s or Michael’s.

Agree with those who say you can get a better burger at Short Order but that’s such a bogus argument. Short Order is probably better than anybody not named Umani. Bottom line – casual westside dining at serious westside dining prices.

Walking distance from Third Street Promenade. It’s a nice place jutting out over the ocean. It’s got a few snacks, swag shops, and is way over the water which is supposed to be a little foul near Santa Monica.
