Kodak Theatre / Grauman’s Chinese Theater

Posted by

Current location for the Oscars.  Worth a look if you want to say you’ve been there.  It’s primarily a shopping mall/food complex now.  Nearby is the famous Grauman’s Chinese Theater.  Mr. Grauman, who was neither famous nor Chinese, got a bunch of Stars to put their hands in the cement, and its been a tourist attraction ever since.

Rodeo Drive

I guess no visit to L.A. is complete unless you can go back to your friends and tell ‘em you’ve shopped on Rodeo Drive.  The ironic thing being, if you stay closer to home and frequent a local mall, you’ll get much of the same merchandize at the same stores for less.

Sunset Boulevard

Another lovely area with lots of little Bistros and Bars, and of course, Boutiques…but mostly Bistros and Bars.  Minimal celebrity sightings, but you never know.  Parking is not readily available and is muy expensive.
