This is one of the most beautiful computers on the face of the planet. It's brushed aluminium and has a large glossy screen that is evocative of a TV rather than a computer. The most impressive thing about it is that it is an all-in-one computer, so the space that the 'monitor' takes up is actually the entire computer. That's great! It has a Intel dual-core processor, a 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, with 1066 MHz front-side bus speed and super-sized 6 MB L2 cache. Along with most other Apple gear it comes with the knowledge that there are virtually no user-serviceable parts, but that kinda comes with the territory.

This is my first Mac, and I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and I got an aluminium iMac rather than the white plastic one I was expecting.
The look is awesome. It will look in place in any house.
It was fairly intuitive to set up, but don't believe the hype; its' just another computer. It does things differently than a PC running Windows, but that's just about it!
After a year of running this, I am still missing Windows Explorer. How crazy is that?!?!?!
OSX Tiger seems to have nothing to rival the flexibility and many options of Bill Gates' much-maligned file browser. If Finder was a better app, I'd have no trouble giving this a better review.
It also has no expandability other than being able to expand the RAM (up to 4GB), plug in USB (x4) and Firewire (x1).
You kinda expect it with a Mac though.
My one pet peeve is that iPhoto keeps crashing when I rotate photos. AND NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW WHY! Argh!

What's good: The look
What's bad: I hate the screen. No expansion possibilties. The price!!!
Is it any good?
