Title: A good read but a bit datedPosted 13.03.2009 By: justin
Scoop: A novel about journalists [book]
I'm not really a novel man myself, but I like to read a good one ever s often.
I also heard this book dramatized on the radio and thought that it sounded interesting enough for me to spend time reading it.
I wasn't disappointed. It was quite funny and even thought it was written about 70 years ago, still made interesting reading.
My only gripe was that the edition of the book I was reading (from the '60s) had some rather unsavory and unnecessary racist language in it. That caused me to look at the book in a different light.

What's good: The sarcasm and satire was good
What's bad: The rascist language.
Is it any good?
